Zwannie de Beer _{FCAMPT, MPT, BSc}

About Zwannie de Beer

Zwannie graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Masters in Physiotherapy. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Victoria. Zwannie has an interest in all types of orthopaedic injuries and has completed her post graduate training to be a Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. She also has experience working in a hospital environment where she is involved with creating rehabilitation programs for various acute and chronic conditions for people of all ages. Her approach to physiotherapy incorporates manual therapy, IMS/Dry Needling, patient education, and individualized exercise prescription in order to correct and optimize biomechanics to prevent re-injury

Zwannie is not currently seeing patients at Footbridge as she is busy working as the Director of Education; her projects help provide ongoing education to the Footbridge team, as well as the Physiotherapy community as a whole.
